Escape the Ordinary

Maybe they’re watching some quiz show together and the question comes up. Sherlock turns to John and asks him to explain.

They’re walking through the park one day and Sherlock looks over some little kid’s shoulder as they’re reading a book about astronomy. Sherlock asks John about the apparent ‘facts’ being described in the annoyingly tiny person’s book.

They’re having an argument with each other and John shouts out something like “yeah, and the Sun goes ‘round the Earth!”, to which Sherlock replies, “Doesn’t it?”

Walking through some bookstore/sciency shop together, Sherlock comes upon a diorama of the solar system and is all puzzled by it. Starts asking John questions. At first John thinks he’s kidding, but then all he can do is just stare at him like “wtf dude?”

…and so on, and so forth. It brings me much joy.
