When John and Sherlock go to look at the apartment together in A Study in Pink, and John sort of insults Sherlock’s housekeeping…. Sherlock actually feels embarassed and goes about attempting to tidy up and such.

Sherlock.

Who has zero reservations about telling a woman and a married man in front of their colleagues that they obviously slept together the night before…

Does not choose that moment to tell John to suck it, but instead is all “oh well, I can tidy up, you see! Look at me tidying up with my pocket knife through this stack of papers! See!!”
